This is my entry for the Haiti Contest over at #HelpOurWorld.
It won second place!
While there are too many horrors of the earthquake to name or describe, one of the things that touched me was all the children left orphaned in the wake. My heart goes out to everyone struggling to survive over there, and with this I'd like to honor those who left their homes and families to help the survivors. They are true heroes.
