Winter Fun

These two are Salty and Dauphin and belong to =broomstick88. This was one of her holiday wishes, to have a drawing of her two dogs playing together.

This changed a lot over the process of creating it. At first it was a close up; after I came up with the sketch the final image was based on, I had the two playing in a springtime field. It didn't feel right, however, and finally I changed it to a snowy landscape (fitting for winter). Quite a few of the pictures of these dogs were taken in wintertime anyway I had fun creating this image; it helped that the dogs looked naturally playful to begin with.
