Well, so far this is my favorite of the series. I have painted deer in the past, so this kinda violates my rule of "no painting animals you've already painted", but I'm circumventing that by saying I've never painted a deer in any great detail, which is the purpose of this project. To paint "new" creatures, gain experience.
