Description

Another Christmas Wish, this one for *tinyowlknits.

Sorry if you can't see this... I can darken it if necessary. (I'm on a PC).

When I saw the little white kitten in her gallery, I immediately pictured something like this. It's much simpler than my past wishlist items, but I like it better that way. :)

I hope you don't mind, *tinyowlknits... I didn't draw this from your "No Derivative" cc photos of Miu, but I did use your photos as reference for the general shape of her face and her markings.

(I'm super cautious about that because of a copyright class I took to get my graphic design degree).

Happy Holidays, *tinyowlknits!

This one's interesting!
What caught my attention at first was the title and how nicely it corresponds with the image. Then, immediately, a pair of green eyes started staring into mine and a black "fringe" (or so it seemed) appeared over them. Only a good couple of seconds later, I spotted the whole kitten. It was a very interesting "experience", I'd say. :D
I like how he really seems to be hidden in the mass of white. It's amazing how you managed to make his shape look like a real kitten's even without marking the outline.
The shadows and how soft they look, give the little cat an extra young feeling. Probably because they're so delicate, just like his expression!
What doesn't fit my personal preference is how the eyes look. They seem to be rather flat and made of what the whole kitty is made. I think their colour and shape could be a bit more sharp, but maybe it's just me. ^^;
What I like though (and I could say this about most of your digital artworks), is the composition. The centered one works really well here, the line of blue on top creates nice perspective and the kitten himself takes a good piece of the image.
I hope ~tinyowlknits was happy receiving this gift last year. :)
